- White satin bodice has elasticized peasant neckline, long puffy sleeves with elastic cuffs

We have a lot of assumptions about the lives of pirates. We imagine them exclusively at sea, sailing on massive ships and spending the bulk of their time singing sea chanties in order to drive their passions high enough to risk attacking another seafaring vessel or following an ancient map to lost treasure buried deep beneath ocean tides or, perhaps, on the sandy shores of far off islands. But, of course, it isn’t always sea travel that holds a pirate’s time! Everyone needs some good shore leave and it is there, perhaps, where the greatest mysteries of pirate life is hidden.
Pirate hideouts located in hidden alcoves in the midst of island collections or cavernous entries where whole villages of pirate crews engage in trade and tales secreted under the very noses of the constabulary that seeks their heads! Now, there is where some of the real piracy takes place. And who is there to maintain peace and order amongst a group of people known for their devious debaucheries? Some make claims of a pirate king, sitting on a horde of treasure… but who seriously believes one man can command all pirates everywhere!? No, it is in fact the pirate wenches who have all the authority. Why? Ha! They control the rum!
It is your shift, lass, and how better to keep these rugged pirates under thumb than in this Deluxe Pirate Wench costume!? In this polyester satin, crushed velvet, faux leather, and tulle garb, you’ll have the perfect combination of clothing to keep those jolly Rogers at full attention. Peasant neckline and puffy sleeves combine to make an innocent looking white bodice but the red velvet skirt and leather vest with gold ribbon contrasts to give you just enough kindly and plenty enough rugged! Finish off the look with the black and white striped satin sash and bandana and matching black choker, if you feel the need, add a cutlass or tricorn hat and you’ll not only be commanding the pirate cove but might earn your own ship!
