Training a horse can be a tough challenge. If you're trying to get one ready for a play, though, where it'll have to memorize lines and hit its marks before a deadline, it can be downright maddening! But now you can simply suit two of your youngsters up in our exclusive 2 Person Horse Costume, and solve your horse-casting troubles for good!
It's not that horses are bad actors, but the stage life can be difficult for a fully grown, four-legged steed. The small set pieces are hard to work around when you're the size of a midsize truck, and horses tend to eat the entire snack buffet before any of their human costars get a chance to check it out. And we don't know about you, but the janitors definitely don't love having to follow horses around the set with a broom in case it decides to do its business... Trust us, once you see how great your little horsey duo does in their costume, you'll wonder why you've ever cast real horses in your productions!
We're not worried about this costume taking any jobs away from hardworking theater horses (mainly since you won't be riding these guys across a prairie anytime soon). But for less intense scenes, farm-themed costume parties, or even just horsing around during playtime, this multi-piece costume is perfect, and plenty of fun! They just need to slip on the separate pants and shoe covers, and place the polyfoam shell over top to complete the look. The real challenge, though, will be having them decide who gets to be the head, and who brings up the rear...
